World Ocean Day Festival

Join us on Saturday, June 6th for a fun family-oriented festival of music, vendors, and ocean displays!

At the Aquarium: As is tradition, the Discovery Passage Aquarium is inviting all to the aquarium for 50% off admission prices, and 25% off season passes! Come see, touch, and discover the incredible marine life and habitats found in the Discovery Passage Aquarium and surrounding waters. Pop over to the Explorer Lab, south of the yellow lighthouse on the Maritime Heritage Centre for more fun activities for children!

At the Maritime Heritage Centre: Come browse our Maritime Market; a vibrant mix of vendors offering nautical crafts, marine gear, coastal-inspired art, local history books and one of a kind treasures! Vendor registration is through the Maritime Heritage Centre website. Free admission, kids activities and more!

At the Discovery Pier: Special ocean-themed ice creams are available at the Discovery Pier Concession! Enjoy your ice cream as you explore the pier, featuring many non-profit organizations sharing information about the wonderful work they do with the ocean! Check out Greenways Land Trust’s spotting scope and look for seabirds!
