Territory Acknowledgement
Ocean Week Campbell River respectfully acknowledges the LiǧʷiÉ«dax̌ʷ People, We Wai Kai, Wei Wai Kum and Kweekah, on whose traditional lands and sea we work and play. We also recognize our close neighbours the Coast Salish Homolco, Klahoose and K’ómoks First Nations. All of these nations have close connections, both past and present, to the ocean.
